Beyoncé knowles was born on 4th September 1981 and was raised in Houston, Texas. She began her path by singing and dancing at various talent shows at a young age winning.

Her music career began when she teamed up with her cousin Kelly Rowland and two classmates creating destiny child with her dad, Mathew knowles, as manager. Scoring their record deal with Columbia records in 1997. Shortly after they became one of the most popular R&B acts. Their first no.1 hit was “bills bills bills” in their second album which was shortly followed with the well known hit “say my name”. With Beyoncé as the lead singer in this group she gained much recognition with her voice and dance moves. Unfortunately their last album was released in 2004 and the group split a year after in 2005.

She then began acting in 2001 with her first film which she played Carmen in a hip hop opera which was followed along with Austin powers spy parody goldmember which she co-starred with Mike Myers the following year.

In 2003 she began to go solo which was a huge success and she became a global sensation. She was first recognised as a solo artist in the debut album “dangerously in love”. She was the first female to win six honours at the Grammy in 2010. Her record was later matched two years later by Adele. She became such a sensation that she sang for the obamas and two super bowls. She is such a sensation that the fandom group name is called beyhive which is full of mostly female and gay men who obsess over Beyoncé and her empowerment.
